For almost 100 years, Quoizel has been crafting timeless lighting designed with you in mind.
In 1930, a man named Michael Chaikin established a table lamp shop in Manhattan. Initially focusing on curating oil-fueled hurricane lamps, the brand gained widespread recognition. One of his original products, the Abigail Adams lamp, remained popular until a few years ago.
As Quoizel progressed, it diversified into electric lamps and fixtures, offering a comprehensive range of hardwire lighting products. In 1964, Ira Phillips assumed the role of Director of Merchandising and Sales, steering Quoizel to prominence in lighting design and trends. Phillips eventually took sole ownership of the company by 1986.
In April 1996, Quoizel underwent a significant relocation, moving its headquarters, manufacturing, and distribution operations from New York to a state-of-the-art facility in Goose Creek, S.C., valued at $11 million and spanning 305,000 square feet. In 2019, NBG Home, a Texas-based home décor company, officially acquired Quoizel. The brand continues to operate from Goose Creek, maintaining ownership while collaborating with NBG Home.
Quoizel designs effortlessly fuse nods to the past with optimism for the future. Their designers scour the globe for inspiration and are constantly finding wonderful new materials for their creations. Elements like hand-applied finishes, mouth-blown glass and natural materials decorate Quoizel lights. Superb workmanship results in a work of art you'll want to show off for years to come.
Quoizel is also well-known for its selection of Tiffany lights. Tiffany lovers can find this iconic lighting look in chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, ceiling lights and (of course) table lamps. Quoizel has faithfully reproduced some of the original Louis Comfort Tiffany designs and also created new modern Tiffany masterpieces with the same high-quality results.
Quoizel prides itself on quality, dedication and integrity. They avoid running with fads and flashes in the pan, instead focusing on thoughtful choices that perfectly balance form and function. Their offerings range from ornate and traditional to sleek and contemporary, so you will find a Quoizel light to suit your style, no matter what.
